About the Subscription

How does it work?

White Horse Letter Co. is a premium fiction subscription. You choose the story, then each month, two envelopes arrive at your door containing original stories told through physical letters, handwritten notes, maps, photographs, and other carefully crafted inserts. Each series unfolds over one full year, 24 mailings in total.

How many mailings do I receive?

You receive two mailings per month for twelve months, for a total of 24 mailings per series.

Can I subscribe to more than one series at a time?

Yes. Each series is independent and ships on the same schedule.

Do I need to read the mailings in order?

Yes, each series is a serialized story. Reading them in order is part of the experience.

Billing and Plans

What is the difference between the monthly and annual plans?

The monthly plan is $19/month billed automatically each month for up to 12 months and can be canceled at any time. The annual plan is $129 paid once upfront — a savings of $99.

Can I cancel my monthly subscription?

Yes, at any time. Canceling stops future charges but does not affect mailings already paid for, those will continue to ship.

Do prepaid subscriptions auto-renew?

No. Prepaid subscriptions are a one-time payment and do not renew automatically.

Cancellation Policy

How do I cancel?

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time by logging into your account or contacting us at info@whitehorseletters.com. Cancellation takes effect immediately and prevents future charges.

What happens to my remaining mailings after I cancel?

Any mailings already paid for will continue to ship to you on the normal schedule. Canceling only stops future billing, it does not affect installments you have already purchased.

Can I get a refund?

You may request a full refund within 30 days of starting your subscription. After 30 days, monthly payments already processed are non-refundable. Prepaid subscribers may request a prorated refund within 60 days of their subscription start date. After 60 days, prepaid subscriptions are non-refundable. See our full refund policy for details.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

Currently within the United States only. International shipping is something we hope to offer in the future.

When do mailings ship?

Mailings ship on the first and third Friday of each month. You can view the full schedule on our Mailing Schedule page.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 3–7 business days via USPS depending on your location.

What if my mailing doesn't arrive?

Gifting

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

Yes. Gift subscriptions are available on each series product page. You'll enter the recipient's name, address, and preferred start date at checkout. You will also receive a printable certificate that you can give in person.

Can the recipient choose when to start?

You choose the start date when purchasing the gift.

The Stories

Are the stories appropriate for all ages?

Our stories are appropriate for all ages and rated PG. Content is literary, emotionally rich, and never explicit.

Will there be more series in the future?

Yes. Series III, titled Yours, Always, is currently in development and will be ready soon.
